For the unfamiliar, lychee is an Asian fruit with a sugary-sweet, fresh scent, and the brand’s new mist perfectly captures it. In addition to lychee, it also has notes of
bergamot
, jasmine, lemon, and amber, and is the third scent in the brand’s collection of TikTok-viral
Aura Hair and Body Mists
. If you’ve spent any time scrolling through #BeautyTok, you’ve likely seen these mists making the rounds. The fragrances have garnered a cultlike following for their
long-lasting scent
and ability to layer seamlessly with many other notes. It’s the first fruity fragrance that the brand has ever released. “Lychee is playful, juicy, and a little unexpected,” Emi Jay founder Julianne Goldmark explains.
According to Goldmark, this fruity-floral works well with just about anything. “Lychee Baby layers beautifully with softer, warmer scents. Anything with
vanilla
, coconut, or a light musk complements it really well and makes it feel more dimensional,” she says. “It also pairs nicely with floral notes like peony or jasmine if you want something more elevated and feminine.” The fruity-floral motif also appears in the designs of the hair accessories, with the brand’s best-selling
